MY STORY

I have always had a passion for baking and design.  A graduate from Marymount University with a BFA in Interior Design led me to a successful career in the retail home furnishings industry.  As I started to explore the world of baking and finding inspiration from world renowned bakers, I quickly saw how both of these worlds can unite.

Three consecutive first place ribbons at the Best of Virginia in the Virginia State Fair opened my eyes to the opportunity for turning my passion into a small woman-owned business.  Hagood Homestead began when moving to our small farmette in Spotsylvania, Virginia and starting our hen house for freshly laid eggs and a home bakery.
